Managed clients
Organisations an MSP creates or manages.
A managed client is an organisation linked to an MSP. There are two supported ways to establish that link.

| Create from the MSP | The organisation does not exist yet | Creates and links it immediately, with billing initially assigned to the MSP. |
| Relationship request | The organisation already exists | Either side requests the link; the other side must accept. |
Before you start
Select the MSP. Creating, renaming, or detaching a client requires msp_owner or msp_admin.
Open managed clients
Open MSP clients. Create a new organisation there, or use Relationships to link an existing one.
Offboard a managed client
Before detaching, add an independent owner to the client and change billingTo from msp to client. Then detach it from the managed-client list.
Detaching removes only the MSP link. It does not delete the organisation.
